This policy explains how FastForward collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit fwdtech.co.uk, contact us or work with us. We handle personal information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).

Who we are

FastForward is a trading name of FastForward Web Solutions Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 07859700. Our registered office is 158 Shoreditch High Street, London.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run our business.

  • Enquiries: your name, email address, organisation, job title and anything you tell us when you contact us.
  • Clients, associates and suppliers: business contact details, correspondence, contract and invoicing details.
  • Website visits: technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view, recorded in our hosting provider’s server logs for security and to keep the site running.

We do not knowingly collect special category data (such as health information) through this website. Please do not send us patient or health data about identifiable individuals unless we have agreed how it will be handled.

How we use it and our lawful basis

We do not sell your information and we do not use it for automated decision-making.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only where needed, and only with:

  • Service providers who host our website and email, such as GoDaddy and Google, under contracts that require them to protect it.
  • Associate consultants from our network who work with us on a project, bound by confidentiality and data protection terms.
  • Professional advisers such as our accountants, lawyers and insurers.
  • Google Fonts, which supplies the typefaces on this website. Your browser connects to Google’s servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
  • Authorities where the law requires us to.

International transfers

Some of our providers, including Google, may process information outside the UK. When that happens we make sure it is protected by a UK adequacy decision, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a project: up to 2 years after our last contact.
  • Client and supplier records: 6 years after the engagement ends, to meet tax and legal requirements.
  • Server logs: as set by our hosting provider, usually no more than a few months.

After that we delete or anonymise the information.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising, tracking or analytics cookies. WordPress sets strictly necessary cookies only for people who log in to manage the site, and these are not used for visitors.

If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • have inaccurate information corrected
  • have your information deleted
  • restrict or object to how we use it, including objecting to marketing at any time
  • receive your information in a portable format
  • withdraw consent, where we rely on it

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first at hello@fwdtech.co.uk so we can put it right.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
